The rooms at Venetian have new living area furniture and new carpet, but the bed and side tables and bathrooms remain the same. Palazzo is a much more quiet, relaxing experience IMO. I've stayed at Venetian the last two times I've visited Vegas, and when I return later in the year, I'll likely stay at Palazzo.
