Joliet, IL (August 20, 2007) -- Road racing will return to Chicagoland for the first time since the 1960’s at the inaugural Bobby Rahal Historic Races at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois August 23-26, 2007. The event will feature all of the Historic Sportscar Racing groups and special races with the Rolex Endurance Series, BOSS Formula cars, Klub Sport Porsche Series, historic Stock cars, GTP/WSC Series, and the historic IMSA Bishop Cup Series.

Who: Race Cars from the event will be on display and the Bluz Brothers eight piece band will be performing.

The inaugural Bobby Rahal Historic Race weekend will be the first time that the Autobahn Country Club will be open to spectators. The Autobahn Country Club private racing facility is one of North America’s finest new facilities with 21 turns over a 3.56-mile distance.
