Having announced its intentions to field customer cars for the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge in 2008, Rahal Letterman Racing will give potential clients a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s Porsche program in an open house at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois.

RLR will host potential GT3 Cup drivers on September 7 to the Chicago-area road course for a morning presentation beginning at 10:30 a.m . Interested drivers will join three-time IndyCar/CART champion Bobby Rahal and driver coach Mike Zimicki for an overview of the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge as well as for a look at the Porsche currently campaigned in the American Le Mans Series GT2 class.

“The Porsche GT3 Cup program is another exciting venture for Rahal Letterman Racing and we look forward to giving prospective drivers a chance to come out to the track and see what the program is about,” said team co-owner Bobby Rahal. “We expect that this will be a very beneficial program for everyone involved and we are committed to giving our clients a world-class racing experience.”
